When it comes to superhero movies, Marvel has been killing it with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In contrast, rival DC is a little slower to the game and previous efforts like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad did not fare too well. But 2017 might just be the turning point for them, what with Wonder Woman and Justice League slated for release in the later half of this year. Meanwhile, Marvel fans can expect Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy sequels, as well as a reboot of Spider-Man.
