My Reading Room
HAPPY PLACE

KK: Our home in Falkenberg, Sweden. It’s my family’s ‘happy place’. I also love spending time in the Maldives for a relaxing holiday with something for everyone. It’s a chance to completely disconnect and relax, enjoy great food, read, do yoga, think, swim, spend time with loved ones and just ‘be’.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

KK: My favourite hotel in the world is The Crosby Street Hotel in NYC. I love the design, world-class yet personalised service and cosy, stylish rooms. I feel like it is a second home for me and I love returning. The people are so nice and I always feel so welcome.

ESSENTIAL ITEMS

KK: A book, journal and pen.

YOUR STYLE

KK: Simple, Swedish and comfortable.

TRAVEL STAPLES

KK: It’s almost always the same: black pants, black tops, black boots or shoes, a warm top, scarf, jewellery, exercise gear and my runners. I love shopping while travelling, so if I forget something, it’s not the end of the world!

FRAGRANCE PICK

KK: Inflorescence Eau De Parfum by Byredo.

TREND PIECE

KK: A kikki.K leather travel wallet embossed with our new monogramming service. It’s beautiful, functional, and with your initials in a gorgeous foil detail, can be something personal just for you to use for years to come.

BEAUTY TIP

KK: Drink lots of water.

PREEN AND PAMPER

KK: My favourite so far is Como Shambhala Estate in Ubud, Bali and Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa. Both are amazing.

DESERT ISLAND MUST

KK: My phone, so I can call for help!

GREAT TASTE

KK: I love food and always seek new restaurants to try. I love Coda in Melbourne, especially their buffalo mozzarella salad with zucchini fritters, peas and mint. I also love anything at ABC Kitchen in NYC, and Oaxen in Stockholm – they have the best chanterelle toast I have ever had.

INSPIRED BY

KK: Travel is such a great source of inspiration. I love to explore different cities all over the world. Whether it’s the architecture or design of a city, spending time in beautiful restaurants, cafes and bars, or just being in the natural landscape. I always bring a notebook to capture my inspirations and new ideas. I am so grateful that I am able to travel the world.
