Let’s Talk Dazzles!
The Weekly caught up with Pamela Seow of Poh Heng Jewellery to talk bling, perfume and how to inspire major outfit envy!
Name one thing you love most about precious jewellery.
“I love that I can mix it up with high street accessories for a high-low fashion look. Precious jewellery is just precious in itself so it shouldn’t be viewed as being ostentatious, or only used for special occasions.”
Tell us one time you inspired outfit envy.
“I wore a large Citrine ring (7 carats) with one of my signature LBDs for a girl’s night out, and my squad was totally enamoured by the lace midi-cut number, and the sheer size of the stone!”
What’s on your jewellery wish list this season?
“This pink sapphire cocktail ring. It’s so rare to find a stone in such a striking shade of fuchsia with such rich colour.”
Apart from jewellery (and black lace), what else do you indulge in to make yourself feel beautiful?
“Perfume is a must. I love a few drops of anything from Dior.”
Are diamonds really a girl’s best friend?
“They don’t have to be. I think that as a woman grows in age and differs in her roles as a woman, she appreciates the different things in life. For instance, I had a phase in my younger days where I loved small delicate diamond jewellery but now I’m into cocktail rings and coloured gems.”
