My Reading Room

Lovely as they are, the moonphase complication does not work with every style of watch. Fortunately for Cartier and its fans, it’s a complication that fits in marvellously with its latest men’s collection, the Drive de Cartier. Available in steel or rose gold, the 40 by 41mm watch features a silvered dial with guilloche centre, and houses the automatic 1904-LU MC movement with a power reserve of 48 hours. The celestial display only needs to be corrected once every 125 years.
