Not to be overshadowed by the refreshed Da Vinci collection at the start of the year and the new Ingenieur references that followed shortly after. The IWC Pilot’s Watch family welcomes three new models for you to covet. Once again inspired by famed French aviator and author Antoine de Saint Exupery, the special-edition Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII, Chronograph (pictured) and Automatic 36 are characterised by a tobacco-brown dial with a metallic finish, brown calfskin strap and an engraving of a Lightning P-38 (the plane he was on when he mysteriously vanished) on the case back of the first two models. As its name suggests, the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36 measures 36mm in diameter, making it the latest addition to IWC’s family of smallest time pieces. All three watches feature soft-iron inner cases to protect against magnetic fields.
