My Reading Room

If you’re looking for a special gift or a unique item for yourself or your home, you’d be hard-pressed to find something better than a luxury artisanal product that tells a story and evokes your senses.

Dreamweave offers just that: It’s a one-stop destination that has accessories, fragrances, jewellery, furniture and more, all crafted using only the highest quality materials. Here are some brands you’ll find at the store.

Campomaggi

Founded by Marco Campomaggi, this collection of artisanal bags boasts a vintage leather look. The natural cowhide leather is sourced exclusively from Tuscany, Italy, and a proprietary vegetal dye is used in the leather treatment. Studs make these bags stand out – made from broken metal, they are treated, cut and hammered by hand for a unique effect.

Sika-Design

Expertly crafted by well-known designers such as Viggo Boesen, Nanna & Jorgen Ditzel, and Arne Jacobsen, this Danish range of rattan furniture is ideal for use both indoors or out, and available in a variety of colours. In addition to being strong and durable, rattan is environmentally friendly as it is a natural and sustainable material. Plus, the furniture is handmade and does not require the use of pollution-causing machinery. The Icons collection is priced between $680 and $3,800, while the Originals range is more accessible, and includes pieces such as the Rossini chair for $420.

Parfumerie Galimard

Jean de Galimard, founder of Parfumerie Galimard, hails from Grasse, the birthplace of traditional perfumery and aromatic scents. He supplied the French royal court with perfumes he created, and, for over 270 years, his brand has never wavered from the traditions and processes he established. The perfumes make use of the natural bounty of Grasse, like jasmine, rose, lavender, orange flower and tuberose, and are created using traditional methods.

Manuela Zanvettori Murano

Feast your eyes on the exquisite glass jewellery from this Italian company. Helmed by Manuela Zanvettori, the pieces are inspired by fashion trends, giving an original and unique take on a traditional craft. They are made on the isle of Murano, known for its glass craftsmanship for over 800 years.
