The French jewel ler’s bestsel ler has evolved from being a symbol of endless love to one of the most adored and wanted accessories. The Love Bracelet’s latest evolution? It’s now onethird its original width; requires you to unscrew only one side (instead of two) to unclasp it; and is priced from $5,600 instead of $8,650.
HISTORY LESSON
• Love was designed by Italian jewellery designer Aldo Cipullo.
• He was apparently inspired by mediaeval chastity belts.
• It was launched in 1969.
• It was nicknamed the “slave bracelet” because its clasps can only be unscrewed with its own mini screwdriver, and some help from another person.
