HW Endorses: Charles & Keith x Cecilie Bahnsen’s Collaboration

It’s not difficult to find a pair of comfy flat shoes, but to find one that’s comfortable and gorgeous, yet special and sustainable?

It’s not difficult to find a pair of comfy flat shoes, but to find one that’s comfortable and gorgeous, yet special and sustainable? Now that’s a tall order, but it’s exactly what Charles & Keith’s latest collaboration with Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen has managed. The collection consists of four different flats that encapsulate the essence of Bahnsen’s feminine Nordic aesthetic, combined with the local label’s 25 years of shoemaking expertise. Three of the styles (two ballerinas and one mule) are crafted from recycled satin, while the patchwork details on the fourth (another ballerina) are “made from unique leftover fabrics from past seasons”, shares Bahnsen. Only 100 pairs of each style are available worldwide.
