Its Made For You bag customisation service is available at the brand’s Marina Bay Sands boutique, but you can experiment virtually at http://madeforyou.furla.com/sg – it offers 8,500 potential combinations! Your bag will be ready for collection in eight to 12 weeks. Prices range from $1,010 for the Metropolis in calf leather to $6,680 for the Artesia in ostrich leather.

STEP 1 – STYLE: Available in the iconic Metropolis cross-body or new tophandle Artesia.

STEP 2 – LEATHER: Choose from calfhair or leather, or exotic skins like snake, ostrich and crocodile.

STEP 3 – STITCHING: Match the stitches’ colour to the leather, or go for Corda (beige) or Moro (brown).

STEP 4 – EDGES: These can be toneon- tone, or in Moro (brown) or Bordeaux (burgundy) for contrast.

STEP 5 – HARDWARE: Choose from gold or silver tones, or coloured or black enamel.

STEP 6 – LINING: Available in black, choco or beige leather.

STEP 7 – TAG: Engrave up to 13 letters on a front panel under the flap (internal) or on an external leather tag.

The brand’s Made-to-Order service is available at its Paragon boutique. Your bag will be ready for collection in about 12-14 weeks. Prices range from $1,875-$20,000.

STEP 1 – STYLE: Choose from five evening bag styles: the Cara, Celeste, Milla or Trinket clutches, or the Ruby mini cross-body.

STEP 2 – MATERIAL: You have more than 70 options, from leather and suede to exotic skins like crocodile, lizard or python.

STEP 3 – HARDWARE: Pick chrome or gold-tone.

STEP 4 – ENGRAVING: Engrave up to 14 characters or a date (six numbers) onto a metal plate inside the bag.

KATE SPADE

The American fashion label’s new Give It A Twist personalisation programme is a playful and easy way to change the look of your Kate Spade bags or small leather goods. Switch out your handbag strap for a fun new one, put on some tassels, or add a personal touch with leather or gold metal stickers. You literally just stick them on, and yes, they are permanent. The programme will be launched in stores at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City, and online (www.katespade.sg) in November, with stickers priced at $20-$70.
