Regardless of the type – fresh or saltwater – and despite the hype, pearls still can’t shake their prim rep. Danish jeweller Pandora, which has been evolving from a brand that specialises in collectible charms to a brand that offers modern jewellery, introduces a happy medium with its first pearl range. Purely Pandora features freshwater pearls very sparingly – one at a time. Paired with sterling silver (for that less precious look), each pearl is either suspended on a wispy necklace or perched on an equally thin ring or chunky hoop earrings.
Purely Pandora has 15 items. From $49 for a charm to $349 for a necklace.
