If you love J-Lo’s glow but don’t want to risk sun damage to the skin, why not fake it with makeup instead? You know you’ve nailed the look when friends ask if you’ve just holidayed in the Maldives.

THE BRONZE EYE
(Left) Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof in #827 Sable, $36, and (above) Chanel Les 4 Ombres in Empreinte Du Desert, $96.
Copper eye makeup was a hot runway trend for Spring/Summer 2016 and with good reason: Ochre shades flatter all skin tones and create the illusion of deeper-set eyes. To get the look, tightline the eyes with waterproof bronze eyeliner, then apply a burnished gold hue all over the lids. Next, blend a darker brown shade into the creases of the eyes to add definition, and finish with a touch of metallic ivory on the inner corners of the eyes.

GILDED NAILSChanel
Le Vernis in #532 Canotier, $39.
We’re fastidious about details – which means doing up the nails too. Two coats of this champagne gold nail polish should do the trick.

CORAL-PINK LIPS
Chanel Levres Scintillantes in #610 Sahara, $46.
An orangey-pink lip will complement the bronzy tones you’re wearing without competing for attention. Pick one with a glossy finish for a more casual look.

SUN-STRIPPED CHEEKS
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Duo in #01, $84.
Sweep this bronzer horizontally from cheek to cheek, across the nose, to mimic a natural sun-kissed glow. Soften harsh edges with a beauty blender.
