Its bags come in fun and upbeat hues, yet are fuss-free and practical. Parisian label Lipault was founded in 2005 by Francois and Karine Lipovetsky – the French couple who previously sold leather goods on Paris’ fashionable Rue de Vaugirard on the Left Bank, and designed accessories for Air France.

Lipault quickly became a bona fide hit in France, gaining a presence in iconic department stores like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. More than 100 stores later, it was acquired by iconic luggage brand Samsonite.

The secret to Lipault’s success? Its colourful take on eff ortless bowling bags and bang on-trend bucket bags – think eight signature shades of ruby, vibrant orange, duck blue, purple, chocolate, anthracite grey, navy and black – in shiny vinyl or hardy nylon. The bags also come in three additional colours during each new season.

Lipault has been in Singapore for just under a year, and is available at Level 2 Takashimaya D.S., #01-91 Vivocity, Level 2 Tangs at Tang Plaza, and Samsonite stores.
