Thanks to ghassoul, a purifying mineral clay known for its astringent and skin-softening properties, this mask cleans out pores, thoroughly ridding them of the dirt, grime and impurities lodged deep within, while reducing their appearance. It doesn’t dry out the skin, instead leaving it soft and smooth.

Kenzoki Serum in a Mask, $56 for three sheets.

This cooling mask is steeped in serum, but manages not to be runny or overly wet. Hyaluronic acid gives the skin a moisture boost while an extract of Japanese lily of the valley – known for its ability to survive in harsh, dry weather – works on strengthening its moisture barrier.

Talk about a multi-tasker – this mask apparently plumps the skin, lifts sagging jowls and tightens the skin in the eye area. What we like most: it’s not drippy and it doesn’t slip, hugging facial contours firmly. Our skin did feel a tad tighter after we used it!
