With their steely gaze and slicked back hair, Fulvio Rigoni’s Ferragamo woman was dressed in an austere palette of greys and blacks with hints of royal purple and mint green. Sleek and tailored designs like turtlenecks, structured outerwear, and shift dresses nodded to the minimalist aesthetic of the ’90s. The showing was especially monumental for another reason: It marked women’s footwear Design Director Paul Andrew’s debut for the brand. He produced a selection of booties that ranged from platform versions to wedge interpretations with the sexiest of curved soles.
