Chloé has always been a bohemian-leaning girl’s dream brand, and this collection was no less different—if not more. In her six-year tenure, Clare Waight Keller has infused a buoyant sense of femininity and free-spiritedness into the Chloé girl’s wardrobe, but not without a tinge of cool tomboy sensibilities and her appreciation of immaculate tailoring. Inspired by music and film icons of the ’60s and ’70s, “Psychedelic optimism” was the theme for Waight Keller’s swansong for the house. The models strutted down the runway in dreamy organza dresses in icy pastels, oversized wool coats trimmed with shearling and low-slung trousers, each piece as desirable as the next.
