Cartier opened its first pop-up in Southeast Asia, Clash de Cartier Studio, at the STPI Creative Workshop & Gallery in November last year, recreating the immersive experience of its global launch in Paris. Distinct areas were carved out from the gallery space for a cafe, a bookshop, a photo booth and a record store. Guests were invited to explore the concepts of duality and opposing forces at activity stations, which showcased contradictions in literary and musical genres, optical illusions that seemingly defied the laws of gravity, and interiors that juxtaposed local flavor with European style. The star-studded guest list included celebrities such as South Korean actor Ji Chang-Wook and local personalities who embody the collection’s energy and attitude.
