Creative Director Windy Aulia says it’s time to look to the fashion season’s playbook and pick up sports

In light of the upcoming Summer Olympic Games, designers took inspiration from activewear for their spring/summer 2020 collections. Case in point: Paul Andrew at Salvatore Ferragamo, who added a sporty bent and a generous dusting of Italian charm to the leather house. Simply put, he creates clothes that make you feel like the best version of yourself, replete with youthful energy. To channel this vibe, hit your stride with a logo sweater by Moschino (#4) and palazzo pants by Sandro (#10) for a tailored‑meets‑sportif look. Alternatively, team a MCM sports bra (#11) with a mini skirt from Bimba Y Lola (#15) for an unexpected mix. Keep it looking young and fresh by opting for a palatable pastel palette; a mix of baby blues and neutral hues keeps the look current. And now for the truly fun part: accessorising. A cool cap from MSGM (#5) adds just the right amount of sportiness, while an Hermès knapsack (#9) lends an outdoorsy vibe to the ensemble. Then finish it all off with a bit of whimsy: a Balenciaga lanyard necklace (#1) and a pair of Birkenstock‑style sandals from Alexander McQueen (#8). Now that’s a winning ensemble— go forth and beat the opponent. n
