Thanks to CEO and horology wizard Jean-Claude Biver, TAG Heuer is currently experiencing a renaissance. Since his taking over the reins at the end of 2014, the brand has—in the words of Biver himself—“gone back to basics” in the most ingenious way. Focusing on its core collection of price- accessible watches, the brand has played Pied Piper to a younger generation of watch lovers with a host of hip personalities like Cara Delevingne, David Guetta and dream-hunk Chris Hemsworth by its side (while boosting up the cool quotient through partnerships with events like Coachella). Never before has TAG Heuer struck such a strong chord with the “in” crowd. And now that it has launched its Aquaracer Lady collection, it’s the brand du jour to be seen in. The Aquaracer Lady 300M is a sexy quartz timepiece that epitomises the definition of sports-luxe. The full white version is perfect for purists, while the black versions make their presence felt with rose gold or a ring of 60 diamonds. All three models have a unidirectional rotating bezel, a date window and luminous markers for better visibility in the dark. It’s also water-resistant to 300m. While we don’t suggest you go diving with the watch (don’t chance it with all those diamonds), this would be super cool strapped to your tanned wrist at the next Burning Man or Glastonbury Festival. You’ll be in good company with Cara and David in the coolest TAG team. These gleaming ceramic numbers were made to be a hit with anyone looking to make a splash.
