LONGCHAMP X POKEMON

The French leather goods expert taps on one of Japan’s most endearing cultural phenoms (and the highest global grossing media franchise of all time) in this, shall we say, electrifying collaboration that sees its signature Le Pliage tote given one kawaii update. Expect variations in embossed leather, the brand’s LGPmonogrammed canvas and plain all-black canvas, each featuring different motifs of Pikachu. The too-cute yellow mascot even gets a never-before-seen makeover on the last-mentioned style, spruced up in a specially designed jockey’s helmet that’s a cute wink to Longchamp’s equestrian logo.

SKECHERS X HELLO KITTY

This collection marks the first time the American footwear brand is collaborating with the endearing anthropomorphic cat – and it probably won’t be the last. The long-running Sanrio icon pops up on two of Skechers’ most fashionable kicks: its classic plimsolls, where Kitty appears on the sides accompanied by rainbow-coloured eyelets, and the Energy – an OG in chunky sneakers popularised by Britney Spears in the late ’90s, now accented by a motif of Kitty’s bow. For hardcore fans of the feline figure, there are also printed tees and pullovers with a street edge to match.

SWAROVSKI X WONDER WOMAN

In conjunction with the release of Wonder Woman 1984 – the latest movie based on DC Comics’ most iconic female superhero – in cinemas this month, the Austrian jeweller teams up with the comic book publisher and the film’s distributor Warner Brothers on two collections. Its main line offers up trendy, clubbing-appropriate cuffs, drop earrings and the like, featuring a graphic, double-stacked “W” logo. Meanwhile, its higher-end Atelier Swarovski arm reinterprets the Amazonian warrior’s new winged armour in the film into elegant pendants, rings, brooches and bracelets that feature different bold cuts of the brand’s famous crystals.
