You run Honey&gazelle, a graphic design and event styling studio. What kind of services do you provide?
Besides our retail line of paper goods, we also handle graphic design, marketing, branding, and event styling projects. We’ve also been knee-deep in designing and styling for weddings!
How did you get into design, and how long have you been doing it for?
I’ve always been interested in design, doodling, and being creative in general, but I never really pursued anything formal until I became an art teacher a few years ago. It was then that I realised I wanted to explore the world of art and design in greater detail, so I quit teaching to open my own studio.
What has been your most challenging project so far?
Last year, we designed and styled a wedding where the only criteria from the bride was to not use any floral motifs or decorations. We went all-out with veggies and apples, and successfully turned the ceremonial locations into lush forests. It was challenging but our efforts paid off as the couple loved it!
