What is your daily skincare routine like?
I focus on cleansing, toning and incorporating a good essence, lotion and moisturising cream into my daily routine.
What are your top three favourite SK -II products?
My favourite is the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (FTE). Before I started using FTE, I wasn’t confident of my skin’s condition, especially before an important photo shoot. Another product is the SK-II Facial Treatment Repair C serum, which I use when my skin gets dry. My cheeks can also get red when dry, and this is when the SK-II Facial Treatment Oil comes to the rescue. One trick I’ve learnt to calm my skin is to pour the oil onto two cotton pads and then place them on my cheeks for a few minutes.
What beauty lessons have you learnt over the past 10 years?
On days when I wear makeup, cleansing is extremely important after I get home. I typically have small bottles of toner in the bathroom that I use to spray on my face immediately after washing when my skin is still wet, to keep my skin as moisturised as possible. I also try to go without makeup as much as possible when I’m not working to let my skin breathe. [On planes, where the air is dry], I like to pamper my skin with an SK-II Facial Treatment Mask and get some beauty sleep. [I also put FTE] in the fridge to keep it chilled for use on hot days as a quick pick-me-up. I saturate cotton pads and place them on the eye area to de-puff and moisturise. After applying it on the face with a cotton pad, I use the excess on dry areas like the elbows.
