The conventional wisdom is that if you print a lot of black-andwhite documents, a laser printer is a better choice as it can save you a lot of money over the long run.

Since each ink bottle merely costs $13.70, this means it only takes $0.002 to print a black-and-white page, or $0.006 to print a color page!

Compared to a typical inkjet printer that uses cartridges that cost about twice as much, but which just prints 400 pages, the PIXMA G series’ running cost advantage is obvious. For a hundred dollarsmore, you can get the PIXMA G3000, which is also a 3-in-1 device, but with added wireless LAN function and mobile and cloud printingsolutions. To sweeten the deal, it also packs two additional black ink bottles.
