ONE FUNKY ROUTER
The first thing that strikes you about the ASUS Blue Cave is its unusual name. But once you see the device, you get it. It is a hollowed out cube with a blue ring in the middle. What might be surprising, however, is that this bizarre-looking device is actually a router. Designed to blend in with modern home decor, the Blue Cave is a dual-band AC2600-class router that offers maximum data transfer rates of up to 800Mbps and 1,733Mbps respectively on its 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. The Blue Cave will come with the usual ASUS features like AiProtection and Advanced Parental Controls. It will also support Amazon Alexa and IFTTT functions.

The first standalone VR headset from Oculus is designed to make VR more accessible to the masses. It features a 5.5- inch 2,560 x 1,440-pixel display and Fresnel lenses, the latter also used in Oculus’ high-end Rift headset. The Snapdragon 821 processor powering it is a little old, but Oculus says the hardware has been optimized for VR apps. The headset also comes with its own built-in speakers, so you don’t need your own headphones.
