A WATCH FOR THE SAMURAI
This new addition to the flagship MR-G series is inspired by the tetsu-tsuba (iron sword guard) on Japanese swords. Tetsu-tsuba are known for the bold indentations hammered into the iron. You’ll notice the bezel and center rows on the MRG-G2000HA are treated to achieve a similar texture. The colors of the watch are inspired by the deep violet and copper used in traditional Japanese craft.

Your coffee has never tasted more high-octane.

ONE FUNKY ROUTER
The first thing that strikes you about the ASUS Blue Cave is its unusual name. But once you see the device, you get it. It is a hollowed out cube with a blue ring in the middle. What might be surprising, however, is that this bizarre-looking device is actually a router. Designed to blend in with modern home decor, the Blue Cave is a dual-band AC2600-class router that offers maximum data transfer rates of up to 800Mbps and 1,733Mbps respectively on its 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. The Blue Cave will come with the usual ASUS features like AiProtection and Advanced Parental Controls. It will also support Amazon Alexa and IFTTT functions.
IT’S HIP TO BE SQUARE
The Instax Square SQ6 follows from Fujifilm’s hybrid digital-analog SQ10. Both of them take square-format instant photos, but the SQ6 is fully analog. It launches alongside the new Instax Square Film Black, which comes with a solid black frame for stunning contrast. The SQ6 comes in pearl white, blush gold, and graphite gray.
VR FOR THE MASSES
The first standalone VR headset from Oculus is designed to make VR more accessible to the masses. It features a 5.5- inch 2,560 x 1,440-pixel display and Fresnel lenses, the latter also used in Oculus’ high-end Rift headset. The Snapdragon 821 processor powering it is a little old, but Oculus says the hardware has been optimized for VR apps. The headset also comes with its own built-in speakers, so you don’t need your own headphones.
GET THE FEELS
Wireless full-sized headphones with active noise cancellation, the HP70 features NAD’s RoomFeel technology, which makes music sound more natural by considering the effects of the room the music you’re listening to was recorded in. Enjoy 24-bit music quality the way it was meant to be heard over Bluetooth, a regular 3.5mm cable connection, or via USB from a computer.
PUSH FOR THE PEAK
The Whoop Strap 2.0 does activity tracking one step better. The tracker records heart rate, heart rate variability, ambient temperature, motion, calories burned, and sleep, with biometric data taken 100 times per second, 24 hours a day. It uses this data to tell you how much you’ve recovered, how much you should push for the day, and how much sleep you need to rejuvenate.

POWER UP IN STYLE
Can a wireless charger actually look nice? Yes, it can. This one does, at least. The DROP provides high-speed wireless charging at up to 10W, while a thermal protection sensor provides safety against overheating. The silicone threaded surface doesn’t just look good, it also helps keep your device in place, with grooves to facilitate airflow.
