Frontal kick

Edwin says that this is considered a long-range attack and used to target the mid-section or chest. Rozz strikes with the ball of her foot to deliver maximum force.

If someone drags you by your leg...

Rozz grabs her thighs with her hands and pulls herself up [a]. Using one hand, she grabs instructor Edwin’s (the attacker) ankle to restrict movement [b]. Using her free leg, she gives several powerful, decisive kicks to Edwin’s face [c].

Open-hand strike

Rozz uses the heel of her palm to strike the attacker. Using the padded portion at the base of your palm makes the strike more effective and lowers the risk of injury to herself.
