MOD TALK
Q1. Why are bigger brakes better than standard ones?
Their larger surface area reduces stopping distances and improves braking performance.

Q2. Are slotted rotors better than cross-drilled ones? Slotted rotors are better at removing heat and moisture from the disc surface. But they cause brake pads to wear out faster.

Q3. Should I opt for carbon-ceramic brakes? They are expensive but have superior performance, and are up to 70 percent lighter than steel ones. If you can afford it, why not?

Q4. Must I change the pads and fluid? Big brake kits usually come with matching pads. Change your fluid annually, or more often if you tend to brake hard.

Q5. What benefits do steel-braided brake hoses offer? They are able to resist expansion, which in turn helps maintain consistent brake pressure.
