Space to play

With childcare centres as a second home to your child, you want to make sure he’s happy and in good hands.

With childcare centres as a second home to your child, you want to make sure he’s happy and in good hands.

My First Skool is slated to launch two large childcare centres – in Jurong West and Sengkang West – in the third quarter this year. They are a new generation of spacious schools designed for infants and preschoolers aged two months to six years. The Jurong West centre can accommodate more than 300 children, while the Sengkang West branch can take in more than 500 kids.

DESIGNED AND BUILT FOR CHILDREN

The centres are designed for children to learn and play, without compromising on space and safety. Different areas such as playgrounds and art studios are designed to support the children’s learning through discovery and play.

At My First Skool at Sengkang West, children can look forward to outdoor activities at sand and water play areas. And there will be a butterfly garden to pique their interest in science.

A HOLISTIC CURRICULUM

My First Skool’s philosophy focuses on learning through experiential and hands-on activities and play. Children pick up knowledge, language and social skills when they interact with one another in a small group.

The benefits of play are supported by a team of educators who are trained to observe, offer ideas and encourage children to learn actively and independently.

Other than building a solid foundation in mathematics and language, the curriculum aims to foster creativity and impart age-appropriate skills. Creative drawing and learning to care for animals and the environment are integral to the school’s programme.

COMPETENT EDUCATORS AND INVOLVED PARENTS

The dedicated teachers at My First Skool are trained to maximise every child’s potential. With their training and expertise, they will bring a joyful and inspiring experience to the children in their early years.

Parents can stay updated on their child’s progress via an online portal and through e-portfolios. My First Skool will continue to involve the parents in the school’s activities, as well as marquee events.

With committed teachers and involved parents, every My First Skool child will feel welcome, trusted and respected – in a school built just for them.
