ASIA YACHTING created a stir in Hong Kong’s yachting circles by gathering nine of its brokerage yachts for a weekend brokerage boat show out in the middle of the sea at Repulse Bay – reputed to be the first show of its kind in Greater China.

Attracting over 200 visitors, the event displayed yachts ranging from 21ft Nautique wakeboard boats to the new Monte Carlo Yachts (MCY) 80 and Italian luxury yachts over 100ft.

Asia Yachting partnered with waterproof Bluetooth speaker brand Ultimate Ears on its host boat, which provided guests with open seating areas, a display room and a bar.

Previously, Asia Yachting held two brokerage boat shows in Hong Kong in July and November in 2016, but this was the first time it had staged a show at sea, around a network of floating pontoons.

Asia Yachting also attended the first Fragrant Harbour Maritime Festival at Central Ferry Pier 8. The company displayed a new day cruiser, Monterey 224FSC, which is equipped with a bimini cover, wake tower and a front cabin.

Asia Yachting, which was founded in Hong Kong in 2007, represents Italy’s Monte Carlo Yachts (MCY), French brand Prestige and US brands Monterey, Scarab and Nautique in selected markets.
