Besides equipment from top brands like Ziva and Torque, small group training classes such as METCONX, held in the Functional Training Studio, are designed to help you build functional strength and develop muscular endurance in a safe, motivating space.
Other classes include StrongX, which focuses on short explosive intervals with big athletic moves, cardio-intensive AthleticX for optimal fat-burning, and RegenX, centred around self-myofascial release and flexibility for recovery.
RELIABLE HEART RATE TRACKING
To keep tabs on your own fitness levels while working out, you can opt to wear a Myzone heart rate monitor via a chest strap.
Using wireless and cloud technology, it displays your real-time training stats on screens around the gym facility in easy-to-understand colour codes (red, yellow, green, blue and grey) based on the percentage of your maximum heart rate you are at. This way, you’ll know when to push harder and when to slow down for a more effective sweat sesh.
Compared to wrist-worn fitness trackers, heart rate monitors with chest straps are proven to be more accurate.
