JW MARRIOTT SINGAPORE SOUTH BEACH

It’s rare to find infinity pools that are shallow enough for toddlers and preschoolers. Guess what? This hotel has two.

There is one on the sixth storey that faces Suntec City, and another on the 18th storey, which has sweeping views of the Padang, Esplanade and CBD skyline. Both pools begin from 0.5m and go up to 1.2m deep.

This is Singapore’s first Philippe Starck-designed hotel, so you can expect to be wowed by uber-stylish decor at every corner.

Until June 21, 2019, book its two-night family package – with the promo code F10 – for two adults and one child up to 12 years old.

Besides a daily buffet breakfast, your brood enjoys one buffet dinner at Beach Road Kitchen and a choice of tickets to these attractions: Gardens By The Bay and OCBC Skyway, Duck and Hippo tours, Singapore River Cruise, National Gallery and Joyscoot at Singapore Flyer.

Rates start from $400++ per room per night. If you have another child, top up $85++ for extra bed and breakfast.

SHANGRI-LA’S RASA SENTOSA RESORT & SPA

There’s so much to do at Singapore’s only beachfront resort that one night just isn’t enough for a staycation.

Besides a sheltered pool with water slides, there are playgrounds – both outdoor and indoor – to keep the kids very happy.

Its Toots Club provides supervised play activities throughout the day, as well as lunch and dinner. This service is free for young guests aged five to 12 when you book its on-going package, A Slice of Fun, which start from $455++ per room per night.

There’s also a Fun Zone, which has Xbox One and race car simulators. Little ones under five years old also enjoy free access to the Mini Toots Club, but a parent or guardian must accompany them.

The room package includes daily buffet breakfast for two adults and two kids up to 12 years old at the Silver Shell Cafe, which boasts a Baby Zone. Here, you can get free bottled purees and organic juices. How thoughtful!

For lunch, stroll over to Trapizza, the hotel’s casual Italian eatery on Siloso Beach, for a free family-sharing set lunch.

You’ll also enjoy a free walk on AJ Hackett Sentosa Skybridge and 30 per cent offwater sports activities at Ola Beach Club.

THE FULLERTON HOTEL SINGAPORE

You aren’t just creating family memories when you check in here; you and your kids will learn so much about Singapore’s past, as well.

This is, after all, the stately building that has witnessed significant moments in Singapore’s history since 1928. It’s also where pioneer leaders, such as the late Dr Goh Keng Swee, Lee Kuan Yew and S.R. Nathan, began or progressed in their careers. It was gazetted as Singapore’s 71st National Monument in 2015.

Sign up for the free one-hour heritage tour to find out more about the grand neoclassical architecture, as well as the stories behind it.

There are few properties left with revolving doors in Singapore and your kids will have fun going in and out at Fullerton’s. Perfect Boomerang moments!

Another precious experience – taking a dip in the 1.2m-deep infinity pool, which is set against a majestic backdrop of Doric columns. Here, you’ll also enjoy views of bumboats cruising on the Singapore River.

Until Feb 17, 2019, enjoy daily buffet breakfast for up to two adults and two children age 11 and below, when you book the Year End Holiday Special room package. Kids also enjoy privileges, including activity books and one free serving of ice cream daily at Town Restaurant. Rates start from $298++ per room per night.
