Located on 90 hectares of clifftop land perched above Jimbaran Bay, the award-winning Ayana Resort and Spa Bali features majestic sunset and ocean views complemented by a white-sand beach shared with Rimba Jimbaran Bali, making it the destination’s only integrated resort. Guests can enjoy access to dining and recreation at both properties, including the iconic Rock Bar, exclusive private beach, 12 swimming pools, golf-putting, fitness centre and worldclass spa.

Voted the ‘World’s Best Spa Resort’ by Condé Nast Traveler readers, Ayana Resort and Spa Bali is home to Thermes Marins Bali, renowned for its unique treatments and oceanfront spa villas. In 2014, this iconic spa expanded to include the Rimba Rooftop Spa, a 22,000sqm well-being centre featuring six additional rooftop spa rooms, Spa on the Rocks villas perched above the ocean, a beauty salon, reflexology lounge and the world’s largest Aquatonic Seawater Jet Pool delivering the ancient therapeutic benefits of French thalassotherapy.

While offering the same world-class signature treatments as the spa at Ayana, the Rimba Rooftop Spa offers a design concept made to feel like a hidden forest, as guests move from the reception, through the corridors and into treatment rooms before ending up in the relaxation area.

Leading Thai interior consultancy P49 Design created a modern, luxurious haven of tranquillity highlighting the natural environment and magnificent views across its gardens, multi-layered pools and the ocean. In contrast to the traditional Balinese architecture at Ayana, ‘back to nature’ is the theme with bamboo, warm earthy colours, and elements like the curving corridor inspired by the shape of a leaf, textured walls reflecting the pattern of tree bark and floors reflecting the ripples of water droplets.
