Here’s the thing about the Aerobull HD speaker: It’s one of the most ridiculous things we’ve ever seen – but in a good way. First, it’s modelled after a bulldog (and almost to scale). Second, it’s designed like a bulldog wearing sunglasses. Th ird, it comes in three colours, because why stop at a bulldog wearing sunglasses when it could also be in a startling shade of red/white/ black? Totally barking (mad). In this day and age, when manufacturers compete with one another to produce ever sleeker and more inconspicuous speakers, the Aerobull, in all of its doggy glory, is the antithesis of all things mainstream. Just stick your smartphone into the dock at A super speaker in disguise as a pet will get all the attention at your New Year parties. WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? the top of its head, and enjoy all 120 watts of the fullbodied sounds it produces (and the amusing notion of music blaring straight from a pooch’s brain). And because no dog would be complete without its favourite bone, the remote control for the Aerobull is shaped exactly like one. Talk about dedication to detail.

At $2,599 a speaker (available at selected Best Denki, Surrender and Challenger stores), the Aerobull HD is probably worth as much as a couple of actual bulldogs, but hey, would a real pooch start conversations like this snazzy speaker? No way. Plus, you don’t have to take it out for walks.
