Here’s what we’d like to see in a dream camera: High image quality, with lush colors and sharp details. Smart and fast auto-focus. 4K video recording. Physical controls for essential settings. Long-lasting battery life. And all in a compact, lightweight camera body. It’s a tall order, but FUJIFILM has done it with the X-T2.

FUJIFILM has made something extraordinary with the X-T2; a modern-day stills and video all-rounder in a compact and light chassis.

The X-T2 comes with a 24MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor without an optical low-pass filter. That gives it an extraordinary ability to capture fine detail, with the lush colors that FUJIFILM is renowned for.

Auto-focus (AF) performance has also been improved, with an astounding 325 AF points, 169 of which are phase- detection. For manual selection, a joystick on the back lets you quickly select specific AF targets. The 2.36M-dot OLED EVF has a split-second refresh rate of 0.005-seconds to keep up with the action as it happens.

And the X-T2 is built to keep up with the action as well, with the ability to shoot up to eight frames per second with continuous AF, and up to five frames per second with continuous AF plus Live View updates in-between frames.

Dual SD card slots let you overflow or backup to the second card, and an optional power booster grip increases battery life while boosting performance. And with the camera’s ability to shoot at 4K UHD video, the X-T2 becomes an all-rounder that works for any visual creative.
