Cars have always excited me and they fuel me with passion – from the well-engineered curves of the design, to the roar of the engine when I turn on the ignition.

There are many car reviews available in the market. I have some ideas that could keep your readers informed.

One, provide a breakdown of the car specifications as infographics. Two, test the effectiveness of the brakes – drive the car to 100km/h, hit the brakes and note the distance the car needs to come to a stop. Three, debunk urban legends of driving.

We like the infographics idea more than the brake- test idea because it’s more feasible. As for the third idea, the only “legend” we have ever debunked was a Honda flagship saloon. But our ongoing Torque Shop series (eighth instalment this year on pg 82) has busted a few motoring myths in the local context.
