According to a report by Australia’s Monash University in Melbourne, bright-coloured cars are statistically less likely to be caught in a crash/ collision/accident.

The global insight into the relationship between traffic accident rates and car colours also found that orange cars are the least likely to be involved in a road traffic accident, with other bright or light colours such as yellow, white and silver also faring well.

Conversely, black and grey cars tend to have a higher accident rate, with experts attributing this to the rides being less visible, especially at night and in poor weather.
