MAXUS G10

FROM $128,888 ON THE ROAD

Towkays looking for a big business van that comes with a medium-size price tag could consider this Chinese contender, which is big on both passenger and cargo space. Bosses will love the second row, which has captain’s chairs and a 220-volt power point for their laptop. And even with all seats in use, there’s still enough boot space for six golf bags. Power comes from a turbocharged 2-litre 4-cylinder that delivers 215hp to the rear wheels via a ZF-sourced 6-speed automatic.

AUDI RS5

$389,080 ON THE ROAD

This coupe punches harder than before despite having a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 instead of a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8. Although the smaller engine still delivers 450hp, this output arrives at 5700rpm instead of 8250rpm. More significantly, the V6 now churns out 600Nm of torque, or 170Nm more than the V8. Weighing 60kg less than its predecessor, the latest RS5 promises to be more agile, too.
