Looking like a smaller S-Class (or a larger C-Class), the best-selling Mercedes model in Singapore is larger, roomier and has more advanced options than its predecessor. Said options include an automatic lane changing function, and the ability to use one’s smartphone as the vehicle key and to remote park the car.

Mazda’s smallest crossover is clearly aimed at keen drivers. Its powertrain consists of a 2-litre inline-4 paired to a 6-speed automatic, which is sportier than the Honda HR-V’s 1.5-litre 4-pot and CVT. Crucially, however, the CX-3 is smaller than the HR-V, so it isn’t as roomy or as comfy as its rival.
