Your favourite part of the job?

Albert Ho (AH): When we return the vehicles to satisfied customers, with their issues resolved.

Chua Seng Huat (CSH): Meeting new people of different backgrounds and nationalities.

William Chua (WC): Making sure that all cars sent in for servicing are returned on time.

Ismail bin Taib (IT): Meeting regular customers who are now my friends.

If you weren't in this line, what would have been your occupation?

AH: Still vehicle-related, since that's my expertise.

CSH: Taxi driver.

WC: Construction industry.

IT: Maybe a property agent.

What made you stay with the same company for three decades?

AH: Because Mr Teo has been a caring and helpful boss throughout, who thinks of the staff.

CSH: Because of the way Mr Teo looks after the welfare of his staff, and the faith in me that he has shown personally.

WC: I am happy with my job!

What do you miss most about the early days of Komoco?

AH: When we reminisced about the old building, old colleagues and the first Hyundai car models.

CSH: I miss the noise and quarrels in the office, but we end up having a good laugh after that!

WC: The annual dinner held in Batam long ago.

IT: Overseas travel for training. Those were happy times for me.

If you could drive back in time to your younger self in the 1980s, what advice would you give?

AH: I would choose to study harder in school and upgrade myself.

CSH: To work even harder and also save up a lot more money.

WC: Take more courses to improve myself.

IT: Try to go for higher education.

What are your hobbies/pastimes?

AH: I love to go pond fishing during my free days.

CSH: Watching football.

WC: Jogging and exercising.

IT: Spend time with my family.

What's your birthday wish for Komoco? And your hopes for Hyundai in the future?

Albert Ho (AH): Hyundai to achieve more brand recognition. Happy 30th birthday, Komoco! Huat ah!

Chua Seng Huat (CSH): I wish Komoco a happy 30th birthday, and may the business grow for the next 30 years. Hope we'll be one of the best distributors in Singapore and become recognised worldwide.

William Chua (WC): Sell more cars!

Ismail bin Taib(IT): To be more successful in Singapore's motor industry business.
