For those who like: eating out, but without the cheesiness

Go for: an arty meal, pop-uptheatrics style

We’re talking about the theatrical feasts organised by Andsoforth, where diners tuck into an elaborate meal based on a special theme (the theme of the upcoming one is The Picnic) while an interactive art installation plays out around them. The indoor, airconditioned aff airs are shrouded in mystery (even the locations are under wraps until the day itself), but what you can look forward to is food with a twist and falling more in love with each other. From $68 per person.

For those who like: an adrenaline rush

Go for: a ski run – in the tropics

Picture this: You and your man skiing down a smooth slope of snow hand-in-hand. In Singapore. Yup, you read that right. Urban Ski, an indoor snow sports centre, off ers private, hour-long group sessions (two to four people); a romantic ski “getaway” on Valentine’s Day itself will set you back $360, while an early celebration (ie on weekdays) costs you $306.

For those who like: staying in and cuddling

Go for: a class to hone your moves

For the more daring couples out there, spice things up a little this V-Day. Sign your man up for Singapore Lap and Pole (SLAP) Dance Studio’s hour-long, onetime- only striptease-andlap- dance group class for men ($80, only at the Robinson Square branch; registration opens Jan 14). It’ll teach him how to get his kit off in the most suggestive (and legal) way possible – just make sure he turns up in a button-down tee or a shirt and tie. If you’re feeling fruity, sign up for one of SLAP’s classes for women, so you can return the favour in future.
