Enter the Nike Free Transform Flyknit, which not only looks good with its sleek and colourful design, but feels good when you’re pushing through that last rep too. The shoe’s multi-directional outsole lets you move naturally without restriction, while the midsole effectively absorbs shock without compromising on flexibility. Plus, the added cushioning of the two-piece interior doesn’t hurt, either. And we mean that literally, for when you’re hitting hard on those high-impact moves at the gym or running track.

Keep your chill

Ugh, the weather these days, right? It’s hard to go for a run in this heat, much less a sweat fest like HIIT, hot yoga, or hot spin. Stay cool with the third season of Adidas’ CLIMACHILL women’s range. Touted as the brand’s most advanced cooling product range yet, it features 3D aluminium-cooling spheres on the back and neck.

That’s not all – the sub-zero titanium fibres maximise the cooling surface area against your skin, while the breathable mesh-like fibres on the outer layer helps to carry heat and excess moisture away. Who’s afraid of the heat now?

The Adidas CLIMACHILL range is available at all Adidas concept stores, selected  retailers and http://shop.adidas.com.sg

Meet the Yellow Fellows

Started by actor-host Randall Tan in 2012, the Yellow Fellows are a team of nine charity runners who have pledged to raise awareness and funds to help fight cancer. Why? Because they’ve lost friends and family to it, giving them a renewed purpose to put on their running shoes. On July 3, 2016, they’re taking part in the annual Race Against Cancer, organised by the Singapore Cancer Society. Those who’d like to donate to their cause can do so over at their fundraising page at www.give.asia. You can also follow their inspiring journey at www.facebook.com/YellowFellowsSG.

BOOGIE NIGHTS

Former dancing queens of Zouk, The Butter Factory or Zirca, meet Pulse, the new kid on the dance fitness block that’ll have you shaking your hips like you’re back in da club! Available at Virgin Active and powered by Clubbercise, Pulse is a 45-minute class that consists mainly of cardio work, coupled with some muscle-toning elements. It starts off easy, but you’ll be surprised by how out of breath you’d be at the  end. But it’s all good – with EDM, ’90s classics, and current chart toppers, it’ll feel less like an exercise and more like a night out.

Virgin Active is located at 1 Raffles Place, #06-00 Tower 2. For more information visit www.virginactive.com.sg.
