CASTED WHEELS

Konig Lockout and Konig Tandem

Flow forming is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies to enter the alloy wheel industry and Konig’s Flow Form is the company’s top-of-the-line range.

Flow Forming Technology involves the application of pressure to the inner barrel of the alloy wheel while the wheel is spinning and after it has been casted.

This state-of-the-art process stretches and compresses the aluminium thus resulting in increased tensile strength.

As such, the process shares similar properties to that of forging and the final product is lighter, stronger, has increased elongation and much greater shock resistance as well as increased load capacity over conventional cast wheels.

Being on the cutting edge of alloy wheel technology and striving to continually improve will always be Konig’s obsessions. This is music to the ears of alloy wheel aficionados and performance enthusiasts everywhere.
