I was thinking – in the next one to two years, many BMW 530s and Mercedes-Benz E300s will be going to the scrapyard. Torque should do a comparison between these two saloons for COE extension. By now, we would know the quirks of both cars. I’m so tempted to get an old 530i or E300 [pictured below], but many people warned me about the cost of maintenance. Any chance you might do such a story? It’ll be a good read for your readers.
