The innovative electric car has been improved, with the biggest improvement being its 94Ah battery pack, which now has 50 percent higher energy density than the previous 60Ah unit. There is no difference in the hatchback’s performance, but it can now be driven for a distance of up to 330km (with 2-cylinder range extender). The improved i3 comes in a new colour, too – Protonic Blue, previously reserved for the i8.
