Britain’s iconic London Taxi has been transformed into an electric taxicab called TX. Built by a UK-based subsidiary of Chinese automotive giant Geely, the new-age London black cab has a delightfully retro design, rear-hinged passenger doors that open to 90 degrees for easier entry/exit, a retractable integrated ramp for wheelchair users and cabin space for up to six fares. With its range-extending generator, the TX taxi is theoretically able to ply 640 kilometres of city streets before it runs out of juice.
