They say big cars can’t go fast. Apparently, someone forgot to send the memo to Bentley. in 2009, Bentley introduced a go-faster version of its popular continental Gt luxury coupe called the Bentley continental Supersports. it could run on both petrol and biofuel, and it had enough power to put lesser supercars to shame.

Now, there’s a new version. the latest Bentley continental Supersports is a veritable force of nature, not only is it the most powerful Bentley ever, it is also the fastest Bentley ever.

The engine is Bentley’s signature 6-liter W12, but thanks to larger turbochargers and an uprated cooling system, it now puts out 700hp and a frankly ridiculous 1,017nm of torque. this is enough to launch the two-ton-plus coupe from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Flat out, the speedometer will be nudging at speeds of over 330km/h.

In short, it has what it takes to cause Ferraris and Lamborghinis intense stress. that’s progress for you. Bentley Continental Supersports
