Earlier this year, Lamborghini showed off its Centenario, a special limited edition car built to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the company. Predictably, there had to be a roadster version and here it is. Behold, the Centenario Roadster.

In true Lamborghini fashion, it looks absolutely bonkers. There’s nothing soft about it, the Centenario Roadster is all sharp lines, angular flourishes, and dramatic creases. And like the Centenario coupe earlier this year, the roadster is made using lots of carbon fiber. The monocoque, seats, front splitter, rear diffuser, and body panels are all made out of the ultra strong and ultra lightweight stuff.

And while Lamborghini’s rivals have been experimenting with smaller engines and turbos, the Italians couldn’t be bothered. Inside the Centenario Roadster beats a massive, 6.5-liter, naturallyaspirated V12 that whacks out a heady 770hp and 690nm of torque. And thanks to four-wheel drive, it will dispatch the century sprint in just 2.8 seconds and will hit 300km/h in over 23 seconds. Top speed is over 350km/h.

Fortunately, Lamborghini hasn’t forgotten about making the interior comfortable. The Centenario Roadster will have a 10.1-inch high-definition touchscreen for media and navigation, track day telemetry, and perhaps most crucially for iPhone owners, Apple CarPlay.

Expectedly, The Lamborghini Centenario Roadster is ultra exclusive and only 20 cars will ever be built. Its price is around US$2.2 million. And yes, you guessed it, it has all been sold out.
