Make your own soaps
If you’re looking to take a break in the middle of your shopping spree, head to the new Innisfree boutique, which has a soap-making zone where you can craft your own soaps. Just fork out $19 for an Innisfree Natural Soap Kit – which will get you three soap bases (choose from three scents: Green Tea; Volcanic Pore, a floral-earthy scent; and Tangerine) – and start moulding the soaps into any desired shape. The brand’s home and lifestyle products, including scented candles, diffusers and body mists, are available here too.
Get a manicure
A fan of the nail colours from Etude House? You’ll be happy to know that the brand’s boutique in Vivocity will be home to its first nail parlour. At Etude House Nail Parlour, shoppers can enjoy manicures and pedicures from $10, using the brand’s trendy nail colours, of course. Here’s another reason to stake out the Vivocity outlet: limited-edition collections will be launched here first.
Snag an urban decay t-shirt
Besides carrying exclusive products not available at Sephora stores – like the full range of Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliners – the new Urban Decay store (the brand’s first standalone boutique in South-east Asia) stocks non-makeup items such as T-shirts. Oh, and did we mention that the store has six spacious makeup stations for us to try out its products?
Personalise your gifts – the diy way
While the Kiehl’s store at Vivocity isn’t new, it has just undergone an exciting facelift and we’re loving the new look. For starters, it now has a DIY zone that is equipped with gift boxes, wrapping paper, ribbons and dried flowers that you can use to jazz up purchases you plan to give away as gifts. It also has comfy plush couches for your man to rest on while you try out the brand’s latest launches.
Get your luxe fragrance fix
Itching to get your hands on perfumes from Chanel’s premium fragrance line Les Exclusifs (from $238 each)? Make your way to the luxury brand’s newest store in Vivocity, also its first store in a suburban mall. Even better news: the brand’s new collections will be available at the store a week before they’re available at counters island-wide.
