If your New Year’s resolution was to improve your fitness, well, keeping to it just got easier. The newest kid on the fitness-sharing platform block, Yo! Fit Pass not only allows you the flexibility of trying out different gyms for a monthly fee, but also includes healthy meal plans from food vendors. Makes sense, because even the best workout routines can get thwarted by unhealthy eating habits.

Great Grains

Food cultivated with tender loving care is often tastier and healthier. Case in point – wagyu beef, free range eggs, organic fruits and vegetables, and so on. Here’s another product to add on to that list: Fragrance 43°N Japonica Rice. This sticky, short grain rice variety is often imported from Japan, Australia and Vietnam, but Fragrance 43°N’s version comes from Jilin in Northeast China.

The area is known for its nutrient-rich black soil and, due to the long winters, the rice crops go through only one harvest cycle. This gives the plants time to fully absorb all the minerals from the fertile soil. As a result, you get rice that is not only delicious but also a rich source of protein, vitamin B, fibre, calcium and iron.
