Simple and portable, the Cestita Bateria lamp from Spanish furniture brand Santa & Cole adds the right touch of casual elegance to the home.

My Reading Room

This new rendition of the Cesta lamp, originally designed in 1962 by Miguel Mila, is smaller and lighter for portability. The original cherry wood handle and frame hugging the smooth, opal-shaped glass are replaced with brighter Sumatran pine wood for a modern Mediterranean vibe. Here’s to romance by the garden porch.
