MARCELO PENNA YACHT DESIGN and Marcelo Penna Engineering have revealed the YSV60, a yacht shadow vessel designed to develop worldwide yacht support activities. The new YSV60 has been developed by using the same platform as the MP625, the next generation of offshore multipurpose vessel.

The new YSV60 has been developed by using the same platform as the MP625, the next generation of offshore multipurpose vessel. The YSV60 brings a large cargo and storage capacity to carry supplies and spare parts as well as sufficient fuel oil capacity for bunkering
operations. Furthermore, she features an helicopter landing pad, helicopter’s parking on the central hangar, refuelling and maintenance facilities and carries an impressive collection of tenders, water toys, vehicles as well as an Eurocopter EC155B1, which makes this vessel unique.
The key features of this cutting edge design, based on Trimaran Hull forms, are of high hydrodynamic efficiency, low fuel consumption, high speed, Transpacific range, good intact and damage stability, large storage area and cargo capacity on deck and below deck, handling system and logistics for cargo and goods, superb seakeeping due to a small water plane area, interior warehouse-climate controlled, helicopter operations, accommodation for up to 12 guest or staff members, ergonomics and comfort on board.
