In a bid to promote a wholesome and entertaining coastal lifestyle, the show suggested ‘Fun in Water’ and held large-scale water sports activities for capturing visitors’ hearts and promoting Chinese marine culture to the public. Yacht companies raised their brand awareness at the show and established cooperative relationships while displaying the best of their models.
China Yachting Decade’s Forum held at the event was led by Shenzhen Yacht & Sailboat Industry Association (SYSIA) Chairman Da Wei Shan, China Yachting Editor-in-chief Cheng Chang Hua, Sun Bird Yacht Deputy General Manager Xue Bin Wang, Omnia Marine Shenzhen CEO Wei Hong Zhuang and Shenzhen Sevenstar Yacht Club General Manager Jian Li. A heated discussion about the yachting industry in the past decade and the future development took place among the five professionals and provoked thoughts in the audience.
Local shipyard Heysea Yachts showcased its flagship Zoom 72, which was debuted at last edition of the show and awarded the Best China Yacht Design of the Year at Golden Sail Award Ceremony. The shipyard was furthered honoured this year, named Best China Yacht Builder, Best Brand Presence in China and Personality of the Year in China Yachting Industry. www.sibex.net.cn.
